About WMRR

Born in 2020 out of a love for rabbits.

The Western Mass Rabbit Rescue is a rescue and foster network based in Western Massachusetts. Local rabbit rescuers Jess Riel, Mike Schilling, and Jordana Starr founded this organization to in response to the growing need for a community of rabbit fosterers in Western Massachusetts and a local organization to help support them.

OUR MISSION

It's about the bunnies.

🐰 Rescue abandoned domestic rabbits and provide for safe, indoor foster homes .

🐰 Cover the costs of medical care for abandoned domestic rabbits.

🐰 Spay/neuter and vaccinate all our foster rabbits for RHDV2.

🐰 Place foster rabbits with adoptive families, ensuring that they are educated in rabbit care, have resources for information, and can provide a safe and loving home.

🐰 Educate the community about domestic rabbits, their care and needs, and the importance of spaying/neutering.
